Well, I FINALLY was able to hand stitch my own day books. First one came out "eh". The other two I like. I didn't make them that large because I plan to fill them up with all the Long Island and Manhattan stuff we do (we are going to act like tourists and go see it all) before we move.
So here are my weekend projects:
THE PINK BOOK
Map Covered Day Book |
I didn't like the stitching so I covered with Washi :) |

Oh my gosh! These are totally awesome! I love all three. I love the pockets. I didn't do that in mine and should have. Pocket some in so handy. I also like how you put the envelopes in the book. Very creative. Love the three different styles. You did a great job Anne! So glad you tried and shared.
ReplyDeleteOH WOW!!!! Your books are gorgeous! I love the pink one :) and i like the map as the cover! and I want the papers in the last one, i love those kind of patterns!! <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteAww Thank you both!! As a certified Mimi Monster I am definitely going to need an intervention soon. When my hubby left for his motorcycle run this morning, I was cursing out some thread (it never listens and gets in the needle like I tell it too!!), I had no books completed. When he came home, I had three. I couldn't stop making them!!! <3

Jennie, Thank you so much!!!I stopped by your blog and all I can say is OH EM GEE WOW!!! I loved each and every one of your ideas. On my way back there now. I have a mini paint can that I picked up a mini note card set in. I need to go play now LOL
ReplyDeleteFirst time in your blog. Both books are great! Love the pink and kraft colors together. What paper is the map? Loveee the colors! I have to try it!
ReplyDeletethank you so much!! The paper is K and Company and the line is Sweet Nectar. I have been using their papers a lot in my day books because they are double sided. I love this set of papers because the colors are so vibrant.
